Very OT-Big Personal News for me & Tamadude

Very OT-Big Personal News for me & Tamadude

Postby njperry on 08 Sep 2009 04:00

My wife and I got word this evening that we will be adopting a baby boy born earlier today in Houston. We first heard about the possibility about 7:30 this evening and were told at 9:30 to get tickets to Houston tomorrow.

We are VERY excited and quite overwhelmed at the moment.

While we have been pursuing adoption, we weren't expecting it to happen so soon and on no notice.

Now we need to figure out a name. My wife for some reason has already vetoed my suggestion of "Stewart Gordon Andrew Perry." Leaning toward Samuel at the moment.

This will make it harder for me to get to see Stewart with the Dallas Symphony since there is a baby to take care of and adoption is INCREDIBLY expensive but I will be fine if I can't make it.

YAY!

I'm very pro-adoptions. Tons of great little children out there just waiting for a good soul to let them into their family.

YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!

Oh, wow! That's fantastic!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! 8) :!: 8) :!:

I hope everything goes smoothly with all the procedures you have to go thru to make your little guy officially yours.

How 'bout Stewart Giovanni Perry???

I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how things were with Mrs. Perry when you got home from La Jolla. Guess that's all moot now, eh??
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
