Change in UK's release date for SC's book? Sooner maybe?

Change in UK's release date for SC's book? Sooner maybe?

ETA: Possible SPOILERS behind links.

CAVEAT: GRAIN OF SALT

The Friday Project (HarperCollins UK) has Strange Things Happen scheduled for release on October 1: http://www.harpercollins.co.uk/Titles/5 ... 0007339396

However -- and I cannot vouch for any of this, so see previous comment about salt -- this guy seems to think/suggest/know? that the book will hit stores sooner since Ben Hur Vox will be coming to town:

http://meandmybigmouth.typepad.com/scot ... appen.html

We were supposed to be publishing Stewart Copeland's memoir Strange Things Happen at the beginning of October. It then transpired that he was coming over to the UK for a few days ahead of the Ben Hur Live event at the O2, for which he has composed the music. So we have hurried the printer along and stock will arrive tomorrow and will be appearing in book stores next week.

I'm not digging into the author of the above statement; however, the London Coven may wish to keep an eye on the shops next week. (For the book, not the Vox.)

Also, that cover: the one that's neat and clean and has text you can read without squinting? Love it.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Thanks DM. Guess we might be able to read it during the interval at Ben Hur.....

Likewise. No obvious Penfold though.

I do own an eyepatch if that helps.

THAT cover is excellent!
The blue type on the cover reminds me of NYC police cars.

I think the UK folks should read that guy's entire post because it hints at radio, tv and personal appearances although it all sounded indefinite.

Ooooh! Lucky British Nutters! Maybe they've just shipped you all the books that were destined for early release in Canada, and that's why the Canadian release date got pushed back.

I, too, much prefer the new cover. There's nothing quite like a book cover that is, you know, legible.

The placement of the text also does away with the previous problem of Stewart looking like he is a legless floating genie. (No offense to any legless floating genies out there.)

I wonder how fast they can print books. Because just last Saturday I was asked for my final approvement to include my live photo in the book. Had to print out some papers and send that to Harper in the USA (might have taken them 3-4 days to get this. So what if I had refused ?

I hope there will be other changes as well, because then the advance copy I've got would be all the more valuable :)

I hope some of the UK crew hears some of those interviews the guy is referring to. You gotta be our eyes and ears.
Did anyone submit a question?
