I'm gonna really try as well. Wonder what time we'd need to get into the queue?

Wonder if there's a limit on items to be signed or if we might be able to get extras for our friends who can't make it.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

I'm confused, not that it takes a lot to do that...

The book publishes in the US end of September....

How are they doing a signing on the 14th? Are they getting advanced copies? I doubt the UK pub date is earlier...

AND HOW IS IT I AM IN LONDON ON THAT DATE???

OK, OK, read DM's post with the blog entry. So I get it - they got an early shipment from the bindery. Very cool!

Getting the book early isn't usually a problem when it comes to the printer. The hard thing this summer was Dan Brown's million copy printing - a lot of book printings had to be arranged around that schedule. Same thing when a Harry Potter comes out...at one point, it was estimated that every printer in North America had a hand in printing "Deathly Hollows".

Anyhow, I am in London that day visiting bookstores as a part of a work trip. So OF COURSE I need to add Fopp to the agenda. What wonderful news! Hope to see many of you there.

Do you think we need to get wristbands or some other sort of line marker, or is it a free for all in line several hours before the event?

I find it comical that my London sales rep and I are doing store checks that day...I mean, I do that 1 day out of 365 so it's luck luck luck or kismet....

Of course, poor sales rep, this just changed her evening plans!

i think it'll be a free-for-all........... with obvious exceptions to let your freinds in line!

i'll be the one bunking off work (ssshhh) wearing green under a nice smart cardi.

i am free, dhang dha-dha dhang, i aa-m freeeeeee....

so, are we gonna meet there, or as near there as we can? then go to a watering hole afterwards? Jolly Good.

iain, sometime after 4 might be tight for me, i've got to get back from prison in henley on thames which i'll be leaving at about 3, probably home by 4ish...40 mins to waterloo.. blahblah, thinking outloud... a bit of me would like to be hanging around the shop from 3 onwards, or the pub next door..... (although not The Bunker 'cos that's a horrible pub.)

if anyone who's going cares to,: mail me stephen 98 AT hootmail. co. uk..
