Hey everybody, I'm uploading big versions of these so you can print or whatever. Sorry about the FileJuicer watermark; I just upgraded to Snow Leopard and my old copy of Photoshop has screwed the pooch. Am hoping watermark can be cropped out.

That's all I got before the venue started to close up shop. Would love to see the group photo if someone's got it.

Thank you-and a nice selection of shots. Someday, I'd love to be able to get out to one of these Fests and be able to take a pic of a Nutter w/ The ManHimself (am photo shy). Then, I'd finally have to learn how to download these digipics.......still too fond of film.......ha!

This website has made me seriously consider buying a digitial camera. I, too, am a lover of film. Any suggestions for the digitally-clueless? I share 63falcon's concerns about what to do with it afterwards. Geez.

What's your price range? That's really gonna dictate.

I've heard good things about the Sony and Fuji handhelds, and I have an old Canon A640 (not made any more) that I'm going to wear into the ground. It's really versatile - great digital zoom, stabilization, etc. I shot almost all the Police shows with it. Luckily I actually have two - I bought an underwater housing for it, which is expensive, so I bought a backup before they quit making them.

If you can spend a little more money, get yourself an SLR. I'm a Nikon shooter (the pix above were taken with a D300), but I know Betsy in particular loves her Canon. Not that I blame her - I reeeeeally love that handheld.

I have seen a lot of the wonderful photos from LaJolla but I haven't seen the group photo. Wasn't there one taken? A photo of the Nutters in attendance with Stewart? I'd love to see that one!

DD-- ( I hope I've seen someone here refer to you by that; if not my apologies, and next time I will type your whole name out! I'm still learning)-- Thanks for the info. I was thinkng under 200, and lower the better, but I think you are talking $200+ I want something that does everything for you and easily. Plus easy to carry around. I have an older film Nikon and have even used an exposure meter back in the day. I think I am photo-ed out.
Thank you again for sharing all your pics!

Nah, you can get a great camera under $200. Check Fleabay. Canon G9 is a good model you could likely find used. I like the little SD series, which runs about $175. Oh, and no worries on the DD thing - it's just that Martini (DM) & I get mixed up a lot, which is fine with us but can lead to confusion in threads. Most folks call me "Dive". No worries.
