Hmmmm. Having seen both bands a slew of times, I guess I never really caught onto much similarity....but now that you mention it, the drum work in particular is likely influenced....

It's not the lyrics, but in the beginning, the background, whoaawo stuff, some guitar licks in the middle and definately drumming, and near the end the background again. Heard it again on my way to work this morning.
