Laurie & I didn't get any Twitters or texts, but we had already decided to go LJ and hang all day. We headed over to the library after we parked to see the other composers and were totally shocked to see SC there! Total luck. It was a good talk. The Greek dude actually talks more than he does!! I can't remember everything he said, though (SC not Greek dude). Must get some sleep.

[Well, drat. Entirely unrelated -- and only when you have a spare moment way later -- would you mind checking your phone to let me know if my text to you didn't arrive, Amy? You were already covered obviously -- it would have arrived early-to-mid-lecture, I guess -- but I figured out that either Indy's or Laurie's bounced, so if yours did too (w/o my phone saying so), I'd just like to check if something is wrong. Glad to see you guys lucked out!]

I do love the image of SC fighting for the floor. Go George!
There was also some discussion about "oral" and "hummers", but not in the context you'd like to think. ;)
Good boy.

ETA: Just saw on Facebook that a Q&A did indeed happen last night after the film screening. Very nice to hear.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

It kicked ass. What can we say. So did dinner last night, with the whole motley group who's here so far (where are you Lil T??)

I'm hoping once we get home and it all sorts out, someone can start threads on the various events and post what they recall of them. I've heard a few drips & drabs, but no complete tales yet.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
