a very brief report

a very brief report

Postby STEWART on 23 Feb 2007 06:03

Hey folks. I’m afraid my Police reunion blog is going to be a long time coming. It turns out to be hard to write about something that is still under way. But I can tell you that we are a happy band with a real buzz from the Grammy and Whiskey things. Andy and I are jamming away while Sting is off finishing up his lute commitments. We are amazed by the response to our return. But then it wouldn’t be the Police without it exceeding expectations. It was always like this. We feel so human when we are working on our stuff out, but when we go in front of people magic things happen. It’s a miracle and I’m very grateful. See you all out there.

P.S. It was nice to put a face to Divemistress…

Can't Sting commute from the lute?

Sorry, couldn't resist :)

69 posts, lol.

Ahh when I saw it in the dinner tales, I thought it would be a nice long one. Never noticed my eyes went there first.

It's nice to hear from you, maybe a short one everyonce in a short while?

Hi Stewart (I can't believe I'm writing to you either!),

Thanks for the update. It's so fantastic to hear that you guys are "a happy band".

Enjoy the jamming with Andy and have a blast when the three of you are together again. Hopefully I'll be there to see you rock your socks off in London

Lol, Helen xx

P.S. I think you will probably have made Divemistress's life with your comment !!! :D

Great to read your comments, Stewart.

I'm very much looking forward to hearing the tour details for the UK and hopefully catching the band in London! Possibly a trip over for the Giants stadium gig too.

Actually, I've just finished watching 'Outlandos To Synchronicities'. A reunion seemed very remote then. This tour is beyond our dreams. Let's hope for new music?
