Did I read correctly something in Dietmar's questions to Stewart in Dusseldorf?
Something like "Thinking about Police reunion"?
At first I took it like something Dietmar must have written in haste (that MUST have been hard, wow) or like "Stewart is reminiscing about the Police reunion!"

I was asked on facebook to forward the question to Stewart if he still thinks about the Police reunion tour (2007/2008) or if it's a thing of the past.

Thanks Dietmar for clarifying things (no, I am not nostalgic, the group has given and stop).

At this point the only musician who ever gave an honest answer to the "Will the....ever....again?" left is Paul McCartney. In 1970. From an English music mag: "The answer is: NO".

Of course, fate had a hand in that.

I do not believe the Police will ever tour again and time in the recording studio is even less likely. However, I suspect they might ocme together in a few years for some charity concert with Stings saying that while we said that was the end in 2008, the cause of [FILL IN CURRENT EMERGENCY] is just too important.

I'd love it if the Police played together again because I've never seen them live and they're my favourite band ever, but it does seem unlikely to happen...I really enjoyed Certifiable or other videos on youtube from the reunion tour and sometimes I feel nostalgic although I never saw them in concert (weird, isn't it?):(
I guess the only thing is to hope for an appearance on some charity event, just like you guys have said...
