Yes, E-L. That's it! I also double checked with the HarperCollins Canada site in case the Chapter folks made a mistake. Here's that link...

TOWOS, here's another excuse to come up for a visit.

Man, I can't seem to copy the link properly. Quelle surprise! If you're still curious, just search Strange Things Happen on the Harpercollins.ca main page.

ETA: Sorry for the thread-jack, Dietmar. Carry on.

Jeez, you guys! Way to post spoilers! Some of us aren't clicking links, reading reviews, etc., pre release....

;) Sorry, I promise not to have a fit, but I really am kinda weird about hearing about things before they're released. Seems like opening your gifts before Christmas somehow.

If you're gonna post 'em, can we label the threads containing spoilers as such? Pretty please? Thanks in advance. Really, I'm not gonna have a fit, but I would at least like the option not to click on or read something if it's gonna have book info.

Dive, the review link is for Ben Hur, not the book. All the book-related links are just to publication dates and the usual one para of blurb. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the link E-L. And sorry that I wasn't instantly obedient. I'm half way through the summer holidays with a house full of kids. Asking somebody to do something fifty times before it gets done just seems normal to me right now. "Move your shoes out of the livingroom and click the fucking link!"

I just note that this is for the Candian version in Candian dollars. The U.S. book costs more. http://theharperstudio.com/authorsandbo ... and/about/

Don't yet see a link to the audio book.

Since the audio book is so inexpensive ($15 Candian, or so), I am sure it is an abridgement and not the whole book.

It says Unabridged

..... you don't have to pay for all that paper and if it is Stewart talking it was probably read in 10 min

I was assuming it was on CD, which is seems to be downloadable instead. Normally unabridged books on CD are a good deal more expensive than the paper version.

Ohhh, at last I can write again here...sorry but I had some problems logging in and Eugenio is on holiday...I found out the problem and here I am on board again.

First of all:
GREAT PICS DIETMAR...FANTASTIC!!!!!
I'm thinking about going to London for the Saturday show, but I still have to plan everything ... my head has something else working at right now, and it's my band...but I will tell you if I will be in London.
Lucky you!!!

Re: The book
I'm reading it and it's really fun; Stewart goes really deep into some experiences such as the making of The Rhythmatist, the old days in Beirut, school, Klark Kent... a great reading for all of us Stew-heads!

Trust me, LL, if I could I surely would TOMORROW (even if there are 100 degrees in BC and we're in long sleeves here for a change....)!!!
8)

P.S. None of the links on the Unabridged version works, anyway. :|

Very exciting. The experiences you list are among the most interesting to me. Can't wait.
