Thanks for the report and pics, Dietmar! It's great that you got to see Stewart and the rehearsals.

Wish I could go to Ben Hur or La Jolla(that's too far away anyway...). Oh well...
Can't wait for the book though! :)

E-L, the Canadian release date for Strange Things Happen is listed as Sept. 16, a whole ten days before the rest of the world. I have no idea why. Maybe they think we're all slow readers. Actually, I am a painfully slow reader, so the early date works for me. There's no worry about any spoilers from me though. Given the rate at which I read and the busy time of year September is for me, I'll need the ten day head start just to keep up with the others.

Thanks Dietmar! Glad the galley found its way to the safest pair of hands imaginable (apologies if my 'little rush of outrage' last month made getting hold of it a lot harder - I was a dumbass for not talking to you first.)

Delighted you got an early sample of Ben Hur. London eagerly awaits the Chariot Cheese :-)

that trash can mentioned in the article link was right there in the studio in the upper storey (with lots of other percussion equipment + octobans)

why didn't I take a photo there ?

it's similar to that from Sesame Street's Oscar

Dietmar: If it had Oscar grouching at you out of it, and you didn't take a photo, I would never speak to you again. (Not much of a threat, but it is all I have.) Otherwise, I guess it was just a trash can. With a few stick-related dents in the lid.
