So Dive, I booked the rate using the link you suggested using my mastercard. Think they'll catch my slight of hand? Can't figure out why, if the special is for Visa card holders, they would accept anything else. Doesn't make sense.

My guess is that if your ressie went thru, Chatch, that you'll face no kerfuffle on the part of the actual hotel staff and they likely won't even mention it. But I'll ask around on the various travel forums I frequent and see if anyone's actually been "carded" on-site using this deal.

What kind of MC was it? If it was cobranded with some Hilton partner, like Southwest or Delta, the system may have been coded not to spit it back out.

Got great deal @ Marriott in La Jolla, but have no clue how far is from the Auditorium and/or Terrace (Nancy, yes, I was in the main restaurant, so I remember it being very pricey...)-

So, because memory is almost full...

1 - We sleep in LA on Wed night.
2 - We'll check in the Marriott La Jolla by 3 PM Thursday, rehearsals are @ 5PM - need concert tickets to access? Ask someone? How?
3 - Terrace at what time b4 the actual concert??? (it's 7.30 PM I gather?)

Have I got it right more or less? Can anybody confirm data?

Aw, drag. But still, I gotta say that conference sounds like a HECK of a good cause, so it's not like you're going to be missing out for nothing. No worries, we'll save some Stewartness for you to enjoy another time...

Lil' T, I believe Indy said we don't need tix for Thursday afternoon but then someone else (Nancy?) said we DO need them for the showing of ES:TPIO later. But I'm no authority on any of this.

Oh, that just blows!!! SUCKAGE! I was really looking forward to seeing this, especially after he pulled out of the morning round table discussion. They *have* to rehearse. Maybe he just doesn't want an open rehearsal.
I hope that's the last thing that gets cancelled



RE: Tickets for the movie. I was told by the box office that tickets were needed for the movie. They're free.
They sent me a bunch with the group tickets.

That is horrible.

I was looking forward to 2 and a half hours of rehearsal more than the half hour of show.

I planned my whole trip to get there for that, including getting up at 4 am to get there in time.

Now we will need to figure when and where we will get together pre-show.

Also sucks that jennym won't be able to come.
