Yep. Don't make us come down to Melbourne and pick you up, chicky.

Like I said...please! Don't throw us in the briar patch! ;) I know there are no good bands to see (HA) or places to go (GUFFAW) down that a-way....

Sorry, no Moeskido. I'm flying solo. But I'm sure he'd be touched by the thoughts.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

I may start picking your brains re: flights down there...I'm thinking about celebrating my birthday in Oz next year...

I hear Delta just starting running L.A. - Sydney, but I also understand the new Qantas Premium Economy ain't bad.

In other thoughts: SQUEEEE! So thrilled you'll be around, L & DM. And everyone else! It's been TOO! LONG! since I've seen you!!

What Dive said!!!!!! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you who will be there, and missing those who won't.

Virgin also fly Sydney-LA (that's who I'm going with this time), prices are less than HALF of what I had to pay last year. Hooray for real competition on this route AT LAST!!! It was cheaper to fly to bloody London than the US until Virgin and Delta came along. Ridiculous.

And I can't wait to see everyone too.

Updated list to move Larissa to the In list and out of the Maybe :) as well as removing Moeskido :(.

I didn't meant to creat a storm yesterday when I put Larissa in the maybe pile. I just put her there sicne she hadn't made reservations yet, in the same way I put jennym in since she had airline tickets but no conert tickets. Sorry if anyone got bothered by me uncessarily creating Larissa doubts.

No storm at all, completely understandable. Thanks for the update. (: Oh, and I *still* don't have tickets for a) the plane, b) the show, hotel reservations or a car, but I will be there. I seem to thrive on doing things at the last minute; I wasn't even meant to be at MSG until a few days beforehand.

For those still wanting tickets for the show, there are still some tickets available from the festival itself at
http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketP ... id=6497219.

Of course, we don't want to have good reserved Nutter tickets go to waste (including the ticket I am still unsure if I will be taking).

Poking around with ticket options, I see that you can get them in groups of 2 at both proce ranges ($60 and $45) and upto 3 together in the corner in the $45 price range.

Amy got the early buyers a group discount and was checking to see if we could get that carried over for later purchasers.

I thought I would re-post this information that IndyGirl found and posted a while back with information on other Stewart things the day before the concert.
Just thought I'd post some info that I have. I recently talked to the La Jolla Music Society box office & learned that there will be 3 events involving Stewart on Thursday August 20th. They are all free & won't require tickets. I'll let you know if I hear any differently.

12:15 pm - 2 pm will be a Composers Forum with Stewart, Mark O'Connor, Paul Schoenfield and George Tsontakis at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library. Thank you, samburusunset, for the link: http://www.ljathenaeum.org/specialevents.html

2:15 pm - 5 pm will be Stewart's practice session that we will be allowed to attend. This will be held at MCASD Sherwood Auditorium.

7:30 pm will be the showing of "Everyone Stares" which will also be at the MCASD Sherwood Auditorium.
