Strange Things Happen - fan review of book

I see nothing to get aggro about. It's a pleasant and pretty spoiler-free teaser, nothing more.

And hell, it's out there in the blogosphere at this point anyway. Kind of pointless to try to cover it up or point folks away from it. Anyone who doesn't want to be at all spoiled can/should just avoid anything on the web with the name of the book given at this point anyway.

Thanks for the reassurances, folks. Had a bit of an after-concern there.
Hey, Dive, the woman whose blog the review appears on is not the author of the review. Actually, you know her...she's Cathy from sting.com and was at the Whiskey press conference with you (lo, those many years ago!). The review was written by another sting.com member who works in the publishing industry. (OT to Kellie: he's Shawn, the guy I introduced you to at the OTHER press conference...the one about trees!!)
Ahhhh. Gotcha.

I tried to post a quick "thank you for sharing" on Cathy's website, but the comment didn't go through, and the second attempt failed with a "you already did that" message. So if you happen to be out there, thank you for sharing, Cathy.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

A Sting.commer who works in the publishing industry, eh? Well, we've said it before: Police fans are everywhere.

For real, of course I have no problem with people reading whatever they want, and I figure the book's getting close enough to publication that we're going to start seeing things like this leaking out.

Personally, I'm not gonna read 'em, and I greatly appreciate folks labeling SPOILERS or whatever - which nearly everyone here is really good about doing.

Carry on. Just (more) $.02!

I just have to say hot damn! It's like the man is in my head, thinking my thoughts for me:

*****************SPOILER ALERT!!!! DON'T READ ANYMORE OF MY POST IF YOU HAVE NO INTENT OF VIEWING THE REVIEW LINK**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

highlight the below:

"I don’t count bars or look at a map. The patterns and arrangements are learned at a very deep level, where my conscious mind rarely goes."

You have no idea how close to heart this hits for me. I can't fucking wait to read this book! Especially now that it looks to be available before our trip to MX in October!!
