In Canada we have a sub-culture cult figure named Ed The Sock. He's been around for quite awhile. He started on MuchMusic (Canadian MTV). He's quite crude, crass, and a tad chauvenistic so people either love him or hate him. I think he's embarassing, but sometimes I like him.
