[quote="P-LOVE"]I'm back after locating a Sony device on ebay and am making a copy this weekend. Everything worked and the quality is pretty good and has the classic grainy and slightly warbly sound of a VHS tape from the 80's, but is definitley watchable.
So how does this work (via personal email?)? I know I have a few interested parties and would like to keep this so I don't break the bank on postal fees, but am more than happy to send a few out and possibly they can circulate from there. Also, each one is made from the original tape so it takes time. In regards to a trade I am always interested in your favorite best quality live recording or demo to add to the collection. We can discuss off line.
I can also include a short interview w/ Martha Quinn and Stewart for the Rythmatist release in 82 that was on MTv if you want it. I can include the Beat and the Heads earlier sets that day if you would like that as well.

By the way P-Love, I and several other nutters here have more than one professional VHS > DVD transfer contact. now that you have successfully digitally archived your tape, would you consider entrusting it to one of us to get a definitive, audio EQ-d transfer with chapter breaks and a classic police dvd menu...? we may be able to get those tracking issues sorted, fully correct the colour and bring the best out of the sound.... it would be worth it for such a gem... (sorry i only discovered this thread today)
