So Jeff, you qualified for the Equity card, but missed out on Master Butcher certification?

I keep re-reading that post and hoping that it will become obvious why it would be imperative to have someone dismembering a carcass in shot, only to focus on the welly boots in the final cut.

In the grand scheme of the oddness of the work this is (of course) a minor niggle. I trust that day of filming was brought to a close by a decent BBQ of novice-butchered flesh, and that a BBQ sauce technician was on hand.

HAHAHA. Perfect. I was wondering what the hell that was about. Like smudge, I can't figure out how a poolside butcher fits into the scene -- but clearly that's our first mistake for trying.

I've had about 2 days to digest this. And still, adjectives escape me.

If you haven't noticed, cilae posted the whole thing in the links section. Watching the entire piece in chronological order is an experience. Again, I lack adjectives.

I remember reading here about a number of you watching Horse Opera either at a get together in Savannah or at some pre-MSG house party. Was this what you watched, or was it a different version? Not that this thing ain't plenty different.

1. The guy who shoots Andy looks like Sting with a black beard.
