Speaking of anniversaries and flags....

Ahh, I was young once.

Good thing I dropped that. I'd have broken the " key by Savannah.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think at some point during that timeframe I had mentioned Ground Control to Major Tom commencing Countdown... hence the search string

OMG - I never knew this existed. I blew off an hour at work to read that thread and could barely keep it together. I can't believe it's not come up before now! This one should definitely be kept for posterity.

I can't believe I didn't even know any of you people existed back then...

Animal, you rock.

Kellie, you're brilliant.

**Bump**

It was one year ago today, Hollywood Bowl #2. I got my third Tourzilla show, thanks to empty, and fifth time overall(once in '82, once in '83). I saw the flag for the first time and got to sign. Plus I met some great nutters, actually we are all great right?
I don’t think I’ll ever forget “meeting” flaggie, signing it, and then seeing it up on the screens later that night, and now knowing it hangs in a special place.
So many great memories of that night. When I have time, I’ll have to dig up the thread we had going for the Bowl shows and relive it. For now back to work, Ugg!
Have we got touchdown

A complete tangent, but another music forum I'm on just got word that the band in question were confirmed for the Glastonbury Festival this year. I suspect the person who posted the following may need words of advice, or possibly a mentor...

"They have been confirmed - woohoo!

Might even make a flag to take i'm so excited."

Bump, just 'cuz. And also to say that I'm getting a chuckle out of DM's term "Copelanders". They sound like some sort of prehistoric forebears to Nutters, kind of like Neanderthals. I'm having images of you all meeting at the FC show and communicating in grunts and hand gestures.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.
