I imagine she might check in later.

HA! How many times has she seen Star Trek?

I'm only up to two, myself, but I've seen six of the other movies this week...damn, do I miss DeForest Kelley. :?

Thanks for the update, P.

Everything's cool here... I did feel my apartment sway a bit last night, like you're on a boat or something and apparently there's some broken glass at some shops and places a few miles south of here, but nothing serious where I'm at... much thanks for asking!

Everything is fine. I didn't even feel it.
I am off Friday, was going to see Wolverine but I have been jonesing to see Star Trek, so I think I will have to check out Trek for a second time.
Funny story Dive, a loooong time ago my best friend and I were Huge Star Trek fans. He lived in Van Nuys, CA. His parents shopped at the Boys Market. He would go with them to the grocery store and there shopping was DeForest Kelley! I guess he lived near by and would do his shopping there!

Here in NorCal it wasn't even on the news, so must not have been big deal?

Enough to shake the ice in Meg's Frappuccino and make the hi-hat vibrate in a certain studio...

Frappucino? What kind of foofy girl do you take me for, E?

Nonfat latte with an extra shot!

My hi hats made some noise. But my studio ain't off the ground and soundproof!

Think we got it a little more than the Valley- as the epicenter was in Inglewood. It was our turn tho- Valley gets em all the time.

So what do you guys do to stay safe in the event of a quake? Door frames, right?

I do have a slightly-used bike helmet to loan...;) (seriously, if it's not one thing, it's your mother...Mother Nature that is)

I'm a San Anselmo Peet's Legion of Honor Medal.

Even when I'm in the Midwest, I'd rather go to Caribou than Starsuxx.

But in Santa Monica, it is De Rigueur :D
