I know what species it is, but let the suspense works awhile. Can I just say it is from South America?

A fish was named after John Lennon some years ago. If I understand why this ??? was named after Sting, because of the things he did (and is still doing), I'm a bit surprised that more and more animals are named after artists... This "tradition" was reserved to scientists or people who largely helped science, but giving a scientific name beause of an actor or a singer makes me a bit circumspect... But after all, maybe it'll give more interest in biology? Who knows?

Would the animal be a canary in a coal mine?
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.
