My Very OT Very Happy Thing...!

My fave actor (and an all-around completely awesome person) John Glover got a Tony Award nomination this week for his performance in "Waiting For Godot"!

I just had to post a shout-out about that, as I'm so happy for him! It's his first nomination since his 1995 win for "Love! Valour! Compassion!"

I'm gonna be in NYC on Sunday to see the show at last, and hopefully give some congrats in person.

Excellent. I can't claim any knowledge of Mr Glover's work, but delighted that a 'client' of your's has got a nod :-)

You have no doubt seen him in something, whether you realize it or not. He's basically BEEN in everything at some point in time. Usually as a "rotten bastard".

Folks rarely know him by name, but always know him by sight.

Yeah, tall, thin, deep cheeks, big wavy hair . . .

(Uh, sock, I think I'm starting to notice a pattern here.)

Oh bugger. My initial response came out all wrong. I meant to say, I've never seen him on stage. Apologies if I came across as dismissive.

Oh no, no worries! I'm just so used to folks asking "Who?" and as soon as I show 'em a picture it becomes "Oh yeah he was in..."

And yeah DM, no denying I have a type and embrace it utterly and fully.

John Goodman has also gotten strong reviews for his role in Godot. Enjoy the show!
