Speaking of avatars, I just noticed that the Wookie is on the drums in E's avi. I think Tamadude might want to borrow that one some day.
If he wants it, he can have it! *If a certain Wookie is reading this, I'll gladly forward or link the file* :P :P

Just heard there are some awesome summer air fare sales going on right now. One example they mentioned on the news report was 86 each way from BWI to San Diego. I think I'm going to book my flights this weekend.

If I'm in, it will be more last-minute than I had hoped for--that will, however, beat not being able to make it, which, I am disgruntled to admit, is possible <hiss>

Just thought I'd post some info that I have. I recently talked to the La Jolla Music Society box office & learned that there will be 3 events involving Stewart on Thursday August 20th. They are all free & won't require tickets. I'll let you know if I hear any differently.

12:15 pm - 2 pm will be a Composers Forum with Stewart, Mark O'Connor, Paul Schoenfield and George Tsontakis at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library. Thank you, samburusunset, for the link: http://www.ljathenaeum.org/specialevents.html

2:15 pm - 5 pm will be Stewart's practice session that we will be allowed to attend. This will be held at MCASD Sherwood Auditorium.

7:30 pm will be the showing of "Everyone Stares" which will also be at the MCASD Sherwood Auditorium.

That is great news, Indygirl. I guess I need to arrive earlier than I had thought.

Wonder if he will be tired of seeing us by the end of the day?

And, Julia, enjoy the race Sunday.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

I already have plans to visit SD in July but with the airfare wars this summer I just might have to come back out in August. It all hinges on whether I have enough vacation days left. :(
I LOVE "Stew's Floozies"!
