Hugh was born October 12, 1968.

I guess that makes him 40 currently.

I've got a bad feeling about the new Terminator. I like Christian Bale, but McG?

David S. Goyer, director of the 2 most recent Batman movies, was hired to direct X-Men Origins: Magneto. This was to be filmed previously but was delayed due to the Writer's Guild Strike. Now, Goyer says he wants to see if the Wolverine movie is "successful" before he films the Magneto movie. Hmm. Not sure if the next X-Men movie is gonna be Magneto (if that is ever made) or First Class.

Also, the producer for the X-Men movie has stated that an origin film for Deadpool and Gambit are "likely." I thought Gambit sucked in Wolverine, but I'd see a Deadpool movie. If Wolverine tanks, though, I doubt anyone will be seein either.

On the other hand, the early reviews for the Star Trek movie next week are pretty good.

Currently watching X2 in prep for seeing O:W this week.

Personally, I hope they hire Jackman for the Bon Scott biopic. (It's not just an Aussie thing...he can actually sing and shares Scott's skijump nasal construction)

Hi all.

May I say that my mother has me quivering and gagging with each of her horrid posts. If she starts talking about my dad I may have to start getting friendly with the nearest firearm.

The only solace I have in this is the sheer delight of being able to copy these posts to my brother, and having the great joy of knowing that he is more grossed out than myself. You see, we women can take more than the guys for the most part. He may just jump off his balcony after reading the first post.

On to the movie....I enjoyed it. I give it an 8. While I like how the many characters have a part of the film, on the flip side, I left the film wanting to know more. This is to be expected with the X-Men franchise.

Gambit rocked, I must say. Deadpool was, just creepy (in a good way). Want to see more.

Hugh? Handsome as always. I don't think any elaboration is necessary.

Have a great day everyone!!!

I am looking forward to seeing it.
My faith is restored, as long as it is not like the third which I think is confirmed here it is not, I think I will enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm still gonna see it. Haven't yet but it's just been more lack of time/running around/birthday cake eating, etc.

I dunno. I tend to trust RottenTomatoes.com more than others, but I do think that cinematic reviewing, like anything else, is a matter of taste.

Plus, I love disaster porn, Godzilla, generally any flick where stuff blows up, etc., so my sensibility is pretty catholic.

FYI - for those not morally opposed to shopping at Wal-Mart: they are currently offering the boxed set trilogy of the first three X-men movies on Widescreen DVD for $10. Included is a coupon good for a $5 voucher towards admission to Wolverine.

It practically pays for itself!!!
