Just now made it home thanks to the severe weather in Dallas yesterday but I wouldn't call it exactly a smooth trip. My connection through Dallas was pretty tight to begin with but after my flight got delayed over an hour to 2:30 am, I knew I wouldn't make the connecting flight. The only option left available was to crash at LAX and catch the first flight to Miami at 6:00 am and connect through there and not risk the bad weather in Dallas. I barely made the connection in Miami on which I was standby, but it all worked out and now I'm home and going to go to bed after I hit the submit button for this message.

It was all worth it to hang with the left coast nutters and VIP in the house Dietmar. We did drive pass the Capitol Records building yesterday which is just off the 101. It looks tiny compared to the other taller buildins that appear to be under construction nearby.

Got to do lots of other cool stuff that I'll leave to Dietmar. Can't wait to see the photos

Kool,

Glad you are back safe. The Capitol Records building is surrounded now by all the new construction and is a bit dwarfed. EMI can't do anything with the building because it is an historical landmark(only in LA right). If they tried to sell it the only people who would buy it would tear it down and they can't do that. Sadly, I heard from a guy that did some recording there that the building is pretty much empty and the studios vacant. There are a few recording guys still there who figure EMI has forgotten they are still on the payroll!

I am glad that with the changing landscape of the "new and improved" Hollywood that building will remain, for now.

there really really isn't any time right now as I've only got about 4 hours of sleeping time until we head towards the airport

meg, dan and I got lucky today
we saw the flag and forced a final flagpoint out of the man

then we met cherry vanilla

all in all an awesome week
