Hi

Lets get The Police back to the top of the charts...!

The rules in the UK changed in Jan 07 and now old songs which are not current singles are now allowed entry to the charts if bought online as mp3.

Totally unofficial.. but wouldn't it be cool if we could get Roxanne to the top of the charts even if it's not officially released as a single right now?

Here's the idea..

Buy Roxanne from the Outlandos d'Amour album online on Monday April 2nd.

(it's only 79p on iTunes)

If we all do it there is a good chance the song will chart - spread the word and lets see if we can get it to the top of the charts!

Support the Police! Buy Roxanne on April 2nd 2007!!!

Great idea Mr Gradenko! I'm always up for converting new recruits to the Cult of Copeland et al. However I do detect a flaw in your plan in that...

If we get Roxanne to #1 it'll get more airplay then people will remember what a cool band the Police were/are so then they'll want to see them live and then aaaargh there'll be more competition for tickets.

However I have the solution...They can play more gigs!

I'm totally happy about The Police and what can and will happen, but it'll take a ton of fans to make that no. 1 again...
