Griffith Observatory was about the one thing I had to see.
And it was the just the best place.
and the Santa Monica pier
Besides that there's a famous place on every corner.
nice architecture, nice weather, nice people, nice record shops

I just thought of something to, if you go back to Hollywood by Amoeba at Sunset and LaBrea is the old A&M building. Last time I went by it was Jim Henson Productions and where the A&M sign was ia now a Kermit the Frog sign. I am sure Meg knows where it is.
I can't remember when exactly it was, but when they sold A&M someone climbed to the top of that sign and wrapped a black band around it. It was up for a few hours until someone had to take it down. If you could find a picture of that sign with the band around it that would be great for the wikki page. I know when it happened that day it was all over the press.

Also of course the Capitol Records building nearby with John Lennon's and George Harrison's star out it front.

A lot of history in that A&M building. I think it originally was Charlie Chaplin's studio.

Anyway, please come to LA again!!!

Hmmmm. Yeah, I looked for the Capitol Bldg for Dietmar but we just couldn't get to everything. We did get some photos of various Police-related clubs for the Wiki as we drove through Hollywood tho.

I have to go catch a plane. X's and O's to all my buddies. J.

he left Meg's house minutes ago to get to the airport

I've still got another day. Getting used to being in LA, but still great...

tomorrow I'm about to meet Cherry Vanilla which is one of the few things I wanted to do
