The Cover of Stewart's book revealed?

Postby Rusty James on 30 Apr 2009 23:08
Generic art, really shit type layout, mood incongruous with content. I'm hoping for a better design (though it's pretty ungreat even as a temporary mock-up), but at bare minimum the title type needs to be placed better. So that it's, like, you know, legible and stuff.
^Yep, what Kellie said.
The aforementioned shit type on the cover is in desperate need of some kerning and leading adjustment – just my commercial print-snob-typesetting/2 cents worth of an opinion.

What the hell does that mean?

So are they going cheap with the production costs to spend more money on a promotional tour for the book?

I would vote for no art at all on the cover to make that happen. :D

I will design it myself for free (which is more than my design would be worth anyway since, unlike other Nutters, I am no artist).

I'm guessing it's a placeholder cover for the book. And by that, I mean, hoping it is. :P
