Yay!!

Now ABD plus. :)

I have not done the disseration thing myself but saw my wife struggle with it at Duke for 5 years before realzing it wasn't right and giving up the Ph.D. quest.

A good friend of mine (and a Stewart fan) is dealing with wrapping up the dissertation now.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

Thanks all sooo much, <3 <3 <3

Your comments and support are all too kind!

PCat took me to my favorite Indian restaurant on the planet and we had a FEAST, then my old faave vintage clothing haunt for a 60s black lace suit Jackie O stylee, then to my old fave record store for a stack of good tunes...SPOILED!

Dive, definitely something devilish-delish!

Pluto: my heart broke yesterday talking with the owner of City Lights yesterday, probably going under by summer :(

Ya it was in SC, baby, but we went in from Philly, had lunch with my advisor, did the meeting, checked out some of my favorite old shopping haunts, had dinner with Pat's advisor, and drove the whole way back Tuesday balls-out style so Pat could be back to teach Wed. I could be here in the library all day to help students with their group project. YAY <grin>

I figured it would be better and less of a last minute ambush to see you when I go back up to State College near the end of June. We will be going up for 5 days or so for a conference and will let you know the exact dates after I register.

Then we might be able to stop by Harrisburg on the way up or back, if you are around and not busy!! <3

Good thing I didn't waste my time cleaning the bathroom. I AM all stocked up on hummus and sprouts, though. :D

I'll look forward to June. And for Papa, I'll MAKE myself around and not busy.

HAH, that's too funny...for lunch we have hummus and pita with carrots!!! <grin>

Yes, Yes, PCat is a deciding factor <grin> The conference is June 25-29ish and we're going to head up early but on the way back PCat just reminded me that we're leaving State COllege to drive over to Michigan for the Rothbury festival...

Will email you the deets for when we head up!

Late to the party due to being up to my eyeballs in students this first week of our spring quarter ... but I didn't want to let it slide.

CONGRATS Soon-Dr. SupahCat! I concur with Kiki; so much beauty and brains all in one package!

Awesome news! Félicitations mon cher super chat!

I'm sorry to be a little late. I was sidelined all week helping my son prepare for a Grade 5 math test. Yeah, while you've been busy with your doctoral committee meeting, I've been utterly crippled by long division.

It's nice to come back here and find all this good news.
