One of Stewart's old cars for sale on ebay!!!!

Postby DirtyMartini on 12 Mar 2009 15:30

Thanks, DD. Everyone's got different places where their line feels comfortable. That's where mine lies. I figure that at some point I'll get a pair of articulated wooden hands for the gloves, and go all out on embracing the weird.

Smax, there's 21 hours left. Any verdict yet?
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

I'm sure that a faction of the London Coven is going to blow 'kill-joy' flavored raspberries at me for saying this - but computer is right. (There's a LEX/HAL gag in there somewhere, but damned if I can figure it out in a way that gives appropriate props to Mrs Smax.)

Console yourself with the thought that the car might be purchased by another loving owner who can give it a better life in the country. (For example, they might drive it down muddy country lanes, allow it to commune with Range Rovers in the field-turned-car-park at equine events, leave damp Barbour jackets and green wellies in the trunk overnight.)

As an added bonus, we can now preface your name with the honorific title 'Two Bollocks'.

my school...... and before everyone takes the piss: Joe Strummer (THE Joe Strummer!) went to the same school.... we had the same geography teacher.. who was about 60 when he taught me and about 38 when he taught Joe.

i know, shocking, eq... you weren't tempted then?

a freind just reminded me that the car was on ebay about two years ago, maybe more.... so the guy who said he was gutted to be selling it hasn't had it very long... probably thought that the reunion tour would anable him to get rid..... i might offer him £200 for it..

if the guy really actually wants to get rid of the car, rather than roping in a grand for it, then maybe you could make out quite nicely there, smax
