OT: order Nutters For Life t-shirts // Register for walk

Hey Nutters For Life!

The Safe From The Sun walk in on April 5. They're doing a t-shirt contest this year. Thanks to a fantastic collaborative effort we came up with a great design for our team shirt. Big thanks to Skip for putting our ideas 'on paper.' I've put the design on a couple of different style shirts in my shop on Cafe Press. Take a look and order what you want. If there's a style you like that's not in my store let me know. I can fix one up for you. I'm donating $1 from the cost of each item sold to the Melanoma International Foundation.

I've dragged my ass in getting this done (D'oh!) so it's probably a good idea to order your shirts sooner, rather than later.

Don't forget to register for the walk. You can do that here:

If you can't walk with us, you can always help support us! See site above.

Nutters are gonna represent this year! We'll be wearing our name on our backs, so let's go for it! Can I get a "Wooooooooooo!"?

Yay. I love the Shirts and how the design looks on all the other gear. That is too kool man. Gonna have to get me a shirt or two.

Great job.

A something to think about.... :D

I went to my new job orientation yesterday and I found out that my employer will match my donation to any charity of my choice. That is so kool. So If I donated 25 bucks, so will my employer. I can also elect to have the proceeds taken directly out of my check and sent directly to the charity.

Check and see if your employers will do that for you. That is nifty for sure.

OK, so I joined the team...now is there an easy/quick link I can point people to for donating, like last year? I'm finding the website kind of confusing this time around...

Yeah, I managed to log in and find the page to donate, but I'm double-checking: Do I make the donation go to "honor" or "memory"? And is the name of our team "Leroy Coolbreeze" or something else?

Just wanna be sure the $ gets credited to our walkers!

Thanks so much for doing this, all. I'll certainly be with you in spirit. Thinking of doing a bike ride to raise $ for diabetes soon, myself....

I fear I may not be able to do the walk this year, but I'll certainly be contributing. I'll have to wait and see.

Thanks, Amy!

And *bump*.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

We're Nutters For Life this year. There should be a drop-down menu that will let you pick the team you want to credit your donation to. We're supporting CopelandGirl_5 this year in her battle against melanoma.

The donation page is a little confusing this time. It's not as user friendly. But, they should be able to donate using the link I put in my original post.

Thanks to all participating through walking or supporting thru donations, or just cheering us on.

I'm gonna order a shirt as soon as I get some money to clear thru my checking account. Grrr.

Vespa isn't going to be able to make the walk this year due to family commitments (big family wedding that month and he's gotta show up at the bachelor party...'nuff said on that). So is there anyone who can pick me up in Philly for the walk & back? Or do I need to look into public transportation? I think there's a nearby regional rail stop but I'm not sure what the Sunday service is like...

Yeah, I see that now (I had to log out and then look again). Does the team captain at least get to see how much has been raised/credited to the team anywhere? Just wondering if there's any way I can follow once I've poked friends & family to see if they've contributed (and how much)...
