So...as I was saying...perhaps, just for you, Kel...Stewat can work in a gong solo!!

Also, I believe there were typewriters in "Office Girls!"
OK...how the hell did THAT happen????
Stewart loves world music and polyrhytmia...
Don't forget the month or so he spent in Bali when The Police Mach I ended.
I think the GONG might have something to do with it as well.

Yeah, I get all that! My "how did that happen" referred to the fact that my post got fucked up somehow...I have a feeling that Kellie was posting her ETA at the same time I was posting and the Internets somehow went FUBAR!!

I TOTALLY get how Stewart came up with this...no doubt at all!

Well, Sting DID sing the Flintstones theme song on camera. I can't find it on YouTube but if you look at the "Bring on the Night" DVD it's in there. He knew all the words. In 1985 this was quite shocking to me :)
OHhhhh youtube whispererrrrrrrrr.....

Well I couldn't find it on youtube either, so what to do...

That's IT, animal! That's the one I was thinking of at least. Don't know about Susan. That's from his documentary, Bring On The Night.

bella, that was my subtle way of saying I couldn't find it either. So I resorted to ripping the BOTN Clip from the DVD last night and uploaded it. :D

Well, you and the other Euronutters are going to have to fill us all in on it, Gio.

I guess in a way it kind of works out. The Euros get the Ben Hur piece, and the Statesiders can attend the Dallas performance. Now what's SC going to do for the Japanese, South American and Australian fans? ;)

I just checked and it costs less frequent flyer miles to go to Milan than it does London, so I'm seriously thinking about going to the show in Milan instead!

Yeah, I'm totally psyched for Dallas - that's a nice central location for us Statesiders and I have friends in Texas who are already psyched to hear the news.

It's just when I look at spending upwards of a thousand dollars between airfare and a ticket to this show, before even thinking about hotel/other costs...I just can't justify the expense right now, especially as I can't figure out at this point from the website if Stewart's just writing a score that's going to be pre-recorded for the performances? Or perhaps performed by off-stage musicians? Then the soundtrack CD will totally do it for me.

Very exciting news. Doubt I will be able to make it to Europe this year but am hoping (praying really) for a soundtrack release.

Also, it is great to know what orchestra will have Stewart's symphony. Dalls in 2010.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music
