Press:

To describe the spectacular event, the London Times quoted Franz Abraham: “The show will combine the power of a rock concert, the speed of a Broadway musical, the standard of great theater and the visual opulence of a Hollywood blockbuster”. The audience can look forward to an unprecedented variety of finest entertainment.

Oh WOW. This is gonna be sublime.

Would love to join empty in finagling out a way to see one of the shows. It's a given, if the U.S. economy rises up out of the ashes and I'm not selling pencils on the street to finance my CD habit soon.

Oh, and: THANKS ST. JEFF! I meant what I said, er, typed not long ago: Pls. let us know what YOU are up to this year as well.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

This sounds WAY cool and I have no idea if I can get to Europe this year...am managing ok but am being conservative on travel/entertainment spending.

Now, I say this with love and affection: Am I the only one who thought, "well he managed to top a lute album." Sting better keep his pants on! STEWART won this one.

But NOT for "career suicide," as Stewart has joked. Just that right now I think Stewart's winning the "most unexpected, but very cool project by a Police member--and a project that under any one else's hands would not be as good" contest.

Actually, we should have ALL seen this one after the holiday party. Or have we so quickly forgotten?

This is most excellent news indeed!!! Yay!
Already racking up the frequent flyer points! Have passport will travel!
Nutters who are going to see a show ought to coordinate so they can purchase tickets together, etc. London, Dortmund, Milan anyone??

that would not usually be my cup of tea

but I like the Heston movie, I like Stewart, I live in Dortmund - so what can I do but go there?

although to me it seems that the Westfalenhalle is rather small for an event of that size. I really can't imagine the horses or ships to fit in there AND move around...

we'll see

if there are any nutter tourists I'll make sure there's some space to sleep

Booked my tickets!

O2 arena 15th September...
Seat location: section BK 110, row Z, seats 316-317

Dunno how good they are but if none of my family want to come I may have a spare ticket for sale to a nutter

Well it looks kind of interesting and spectacular but I'm not sure about the performing animals thing.

That's what I'm hoping, but not sure if there's any chance of it...

Vespa and I have been trying to plan a European trip for this year coming up, but probably during the summer as I want to visit some beach/coastal areas. I doubt I could swing two trips this year as even one is gonna really stretch things...
