Ha! My husband is kind of into how his hair looks, when it gets really intense I'll ask him if he has a new pair of shoes, too, just to give him a hard time. ;)

Amy - if you still can't see the images, the Ebay item number is 150138751338.

I have a pretty great pair of knee high Docs:

They are awesome for concerts, the sole is comfy as heck, and they're not too hot. I just like boots with buckles, I guess.

The plain 20-hole pair is on sale at the mall near me for $40! Sheez! I had a hard time resisting, but I'm seriously out of closet space. I did buy a 12-hole pair for $30....

this is what I get for Googling: New Doc lust....

$40??!! I love the 20 hole, not a fan of buckles. My 8 hole greasies were my favorite and I paid over a hundred dollars for them. 'Course that was back in the day.

DM, are you selling your collection on EBay? I'm interested. Do you know anything about those new walking shoes - they look like they roll?

Too strange....

WOW. Those are HAWT. However, for the price you could upgrade your kit. Unless you are planning to play while wearing them, which could be considered a kit upgrade!

Just got back from the mall with two new pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor hightops. I did not know that Converse was selling special edition shoes featuring classic rock bands. I got The Who shoes, which feature the union jack, and the Pink Floyd shoes, which features art from Wish You Were Here. They also had shoes featuring The Doors , The Dead, and Black Sabbath.

Searching the web after getting home, I see Converse also sells high and low lop Dark Side of the Moon, low top Radiohead Hail to the Thief, high top Pink Floyd animals, and a Who high top featuring Townshend in a Union Jack jumping sillouette.

The Who High Top:

The Who shoes are nicer in real life.
