Of course thanks to Our Lady of the Flag. In the excitement, I forgot, ask humbly for forgiveness. Although I gave you credit for the news elsewhere, still   .

And thanks for the reminder, animal. Earlier I wanted to mention how much I LOVE the alliteration (and the serial comma).
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

That is awesome. Released the day after my birthday.

My Amazon pre-orders have gone better than my WorstBuy pre-orders. Hard to imagine it will be worse. Still I have had some issues.

I may still pre-ordered but not yet.

CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT. CAN'T WAIT.

Are we there yet?

OK, I'm home on the laptop and just saw the HC page...

droooooooooool.....

Aw, hell. Everyone else has said this already, but...EIGHT MORE MONTHS?!

*ponders how it would feel to chew off own arm*

Also preordered. If only so I get emails if they do something else with the pub date.

Oh, and I "requested the title on Kindle" just to help out with sales. <brownnose mode OFF> ;)

I was hopeful for a second that the release date would be sooner. It is listed as "10/6/09" on the Harper site. Perhaps this is the style used by much of the world outside of the U.S. with the date and then the month so it would be June 10 as opposed to October 6, but alas no. It is October.

Better late than never...
I hope there are news on the possible book signing before it is time to book my flights.

And since I don't live close to Borders or Barnes and Noble, amazon.com is very convenient. Lately I did not have any issues with pre-orders from any company...must be the economy. Everybody is trying to do a good job to save their butts.

Fantastic news! Thanks DM.

I love the new title as well. You've pointed out the alliteration and the serial commas, but Stewart even worked a colon into the thing. How geek-alicious is that? If he managed a semi-colon, I may have fainted from sheer delight.

And about the alliteration, I guess all the Flag Spotting posts and Prule's Dentate Dinner Tales thread rubbed off on Stewart. Heh, heh. I hope he mentions us as one of his literary influences when he does his book tour.

Oh yeah, Stewart please do a book tour! We do love us some books here in Toronto. Can't you tell? We does be a literate bunch a folk.

ETA: I love a man with an ISBN.

"Stewart, can we have a li'l allitteration tonight? After, you can take me to your place and show me your ISBN collection"....
