The McCartney gig in Vegas is at a tiny new venue.
There is no bigger gong.

I know, EQ! I mean, he played in a fooking CLUB in Truckee (Lake Tahoe) about three years ago, unannounced! The clubbers went there for a punch and some ditties and had a Macca Private Party!!!

Heard from a friend who is a huge Macca fan who heard for someone that has worked on previous tours that he is not going out on a big tour and only doing small one off shows because if he goes out on tour there are custody issues with Heather.
I love Flaming Pie, he really nailed that one.
Have we got touchdown

I'm glad to encounter other McCartney fans! If you haven't given his new Fireman disc "Electric Arguments" a listen, by all means get a copy. It's a real, raw surprise!

(More McCartney thread jack)
Listen to Flowers in the Dirt. It was the first time that I liked something of Elvis Costello. Also Off the Ground had Hope of Deliverance that I loved.
Flowers in the Dirt didn't do it for me. Liked Hope of Deliverance but not a album I really cared for much.

Oh, TOWOS.... I'm so glad you see that you've jumped on the Oysterhead train! Love the avatar!

It makes me sick that the tour is over, but the sooner everyone puts another Police reunion out of their heads, the better. Ain't gonna happen.

Viva La Oysterhead!

Sting saying he has no idea what the album will sound like smacks of a reunion with Kipper. Fire up the sampled grooves and write songs to those. Bleah.

I need to check out Flaming Pie. Personally, Chaos and Creation was an F-ing GREAT album and I agree with whoever gave kudos to Brainwashed. If I could make a final album like that...

Not waiting with baited breath over the new Sting album and haven't since Brand New Day....

Not a huge fan of Flaming Pie. Not that it is a bad album, but I think my expectations were waaayy too high.

On the other hand, I loooooooooooove Brainwashed.

Daner, I have Chaos and Creation, and, good as it is, trust me, it does not hold a candle to Flaming Pie. Flaming Pie is Beatles Good. Maybe I'm Amazed Good.

Pity Paul pulls off all of this vids from You Tube, otherwise I would send you a sample. 8)

If I don't buy it , I'm sure I can find it online somewhere.

Plus, I doubt Paul pulls the vids--it's probably his label.
