Again? I'm not sure I have the stamina, nor could I stand the stopping for a third time. Grateful that they found another way of doing that stopping thing on the second pass.

But ('scuse the bad language) FUCK yes, second time round with this band was magnificent. It was so good overall that I've managed to obliterate the pain that was the 2007 version of 'Truth Hits...' from the iPod in my head :-)

Actually, if memory serves me right it WAS Sting.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

Ahhhh, I remember those old days fondly! How young we all were, how excited we were at the prospect of this new band setting the world afire!
Images of tours, new albums, peace and love dancing in our heads....

It seems like only yesterday and a million years ago, all at the same time!!
Hearing those words was like the best drug ever, inducing a high that lasted for nearly two years! What a ride!

It's really cool for me to go back and see how it all began because I missed most of it when it was actually happening. I was in the middle of chemotherapy and my father passed away on the same day as the reunion tour was announced. I was too preoccupied to have a clue. But I have some amazing friends who knew I needed this tour even more than I did. They made sure I got to see the show and I am so grateful.

And after that first concert, that's when the fun REALLY started.

yeah shy, for sure. I am glad you got to see it once again since you were going thru all of that during the actual time. Bless your heart.

Grammys have not been the same since. Tee hee. I just put in my dvd and take it in once again. What a moment.

I was dealing with some drama at that time too and that announcement came just in time for me. My mom had passed in 06. Then, My ex and I had just split up after 8 yrs together. I was battling depression and all. It was rough, especially since there are kids involved. We actually get along great still and do alot of family stuff together. The kids are what it is about now. Gosh they are getting so big. Ian will be 8 and Erin will be 5. :D

Now we are suffering from withdrawls. Help

For me it was also the next day, watching on my computer at work the Whiskey press conference and just   :D :D that my wait of almost twenty four years to see them again was going to be over. Because I knew right then and there that there would be no way I would miss seeing them. Little did I know that I would end up seeing them three times, in three cities, two states, have tenth row seats, meet Andy again, worship a green flag, sign a flag, become a nutter etc......... :)
Have we got touchdown
