Melanoma Int'l Foundation Safe from the Sun walk '09
My understanding is that it's just in the one city. I looked into it a bit and there doesn't appear to be a walk organized in Toronto.
You're right. It's only in Philadelphia - at least this one is. Not sure if they do other cities at different times.

We'll post a link for the team when we decide on a name.

Beuller? Anyone have any ideas?

I like Alex's idea. I think Ian would, too.

Yo!

Yes, like PR said, this one's at Villa Nova U. in Philly. I should have posted the link:

(I believe they have another on the west coast later in the year. Some enterprising left coast Nutters could check that out if so inclined. )

Thanks for your support guys. Just because you may be far away and can't walk with us doesn't mean you can't give us t-shirt or team name ideas.

So far I just keep coming up with variations on CG5's last name -- "Pizza Nutters" being the most recent. Sounds like a weird new snack food.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Calling all Nutters!!

We've amassed three team name suggestions so far:

*Nutters for Life
*Laurie Coolbreeze (I would imagine it could be amended to be The Laurie Coolbreezes or something similar)
*Pizza Nutters

Come on people speak up. We need your help!!

Anyone?

I am a fan of the Laurie Coolbreezes.
it incorporates both CG5 and Ian in a nice way, and sounds cool too

Of the three, I like Nutters For Life. (Believe me: Pizza Nutters wasn't serious. It's just all that kept going through my head.) NFL encompasses a lot, has a positive message, turns out to have a funny abbreviation, and I personally don't dig the Laurie Coolbreeze thing since Coolbreeze is someone else's nickname. That's just my preference.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Let us know when and how we can donate.

I don't have a preference on the name. I knew Ian well enough to know that he would be more than happy to share/modify/abdicate his name to encompass others. He was ALL about being inclusive. One of the reasons he was so great. Everyone was a VIP to him.
I could be replaced by any bright spark.
