Just back from Oasis show! Wow!!!

Postby giovanni on 03 Feb 2009 00:45

I'm back from the Forum in Milan where Oasis were playing tonigh!
Awsome, as usual!
Pure rock&roll, that's what they are! Amazing setlist, with lots of tracks out of their first two albums, and some stuff from all the rest (and some more from the latest).
They are definitely in perfect shape, cool sound, cool show, great band!

Gallaghers: you rule!
I'm meeed fer 'em!

Truly great band with style.
They don't always no how to act, but they always proceed with confidence and bravado...and some really great tunes that are written perfectly for Liam's modern Lennon type rasp.

I hope to see them again, but those days are more and more behind me.

glad you had fun gio....

i saw the monobrow brothers at the 94 glastonbury when they were on at 3.45 in the afternoon, and again at glastonbury when they were headlining in 98 (?)

i think it's funny how they want to be the beatles and yet they've turned into the Rolling Stones: release albums that aren't very good but everyone pretends are great and then go out on enormous tours for £50 a seat when the audience hope they concentrate on their early stuff.....

Dear Donna Lydia...I'm gonna keep it calm...I just get on my boots, I walk down the stairs...I get into the car...I drive 15 minutes to reach your door...I ring the bell....and as soon as I see you...I KICK YOUR ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS A THOUSANDS AND A THOUSANDS AND A THOUSANDS TIMESSSSSS !!!! ...AND FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!!!

Sorry folks...a long debate about the Gallagher brothers becomes violent sometimes... but don't worry too much...

Mrs. Throb saw them at the end of last year. A girlfriend of hers who is a huge fan took her. She didn't really know anything about them, I had to tell her about them before the show.
So she went to the show not knowing much but had listened to the new album and really liked it and came out of the show...a Huge fan!
She is now probably more into them than me. I have never seen them in concert but she said it was an awesome show.
Have we got touchdown

I'm jealous. I plan on seeing them in May with Weezer!
I hear Chris Sharrock is a monster live.
Gio, have you heard the alt version #2 of "Waiting for the Rapture?"
