Been listening to a lot of Animal Logic lately. Much better band than I recall. They are much much much better live than in the studio. Too bad they were never able to capture that live energy on either of their album. I'm not talking about Stewart, but more about Stanley and Rusty Anderson. They are just awesome live but incredibly "meh" on the CD.

And the first CD is miles better than the second.

I went through a AL phase a while back. It is an enjoyable band, even if they feel kind of boxed in on the studio work.

I almost was able to see them live but the plans fel through and I never saw them in person. Have always regreted that.

Me too. I greatly prefer II to I. Not only are the songs more interesting to me but Stewart's playing is much looser to my ears.

Oh yeah, currently listening to "Bale Out" - the Christian Bale remix.

Horribly addictive. Completely not safe for work.
