Ahhh the grendels lair story-- got very lucky on that one...actually word spread through the grapevine about a "new band" with an awesome sound that had potential...I was young and relied on my brother to get me there. I rememeber when Sting first came out we thought oh shit...punk!!!! If I recall I do remember enjoying the show in this local dive which no longer exists- the acoustics were great. Drinking age back then was 17 so I snuck in easily. I remember the place was not necessarilly packed for all the hype on YSP or MMR I dont remember who.

The only time in my life I seen a band before making it "big" but I think sockii barely edges me out because I didnt go close to the stage- was busy milking my beer.

Excellent, great! I'm still compiling photos, video, links, etc to add to my page on the rehearsals, so whatever you've got to add would be most appreciated.
