YEEEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

They were FANTASTIC!! As I'd hoped, the last show of the N. American tour turned out to be the best - the boys were really spot on, reports of Johnson's voice crapping out proved premature.

Lotsa pyrotechnics, literally & figuratively...I had gone in with low expectations, like...these are older guys, it'll probably be kind of low-energy...HAHAHA!!! I literally don't know when I've ever seen a band work so hard, ever. (With the exception of a certain drummer, of course.)

All the hits were played, the standout in my mind being 'Hell's Bells,' although I'm really partial to 'Let There be Rock' as well. No real surprises in the setlist, though I also really like the title track to the new album.

Of course, the tix said 'no cameras' so I didn't take one, then my bag wasn't even checked. So no piccies. Which sucked, because a lot of guys in the crowd were decked out wearing schoolboy shorts and uniforms. I think I even spotted Rosie. The crowd itself was terrific, mellow and ppl having a great time.

There are some European dates coming up soon. Dortmund March 15, Milan March 19, London April 14. Go go go go go.

Info: www.acdc.com of course...They've got a pretty friendly fan community over there, actually.

Nice New Jean! Here in Lima the expectation also is great... possibilitie of AC/DC in Lima, increased by the nowadays sold out show of "Iron Maiden" who will perform in front of 50,000 peruvian fans on March 23rd, and his confirmed visit to Machu Picchu... a very wide coverage here:

Into the cover -not the same as bigger an acentral that "The Police" had on this newspaper when he reunited for the 49th Grammy Award Ceremony: http://e.elcomercio.pe/101/impresa/pdf/ ... 0109a1.pdf

This is the cover of the spectacles section with Iron Maiden on it:

An the exclusive intervie with Bruce Dickinson singer of Iron Maiden:
http://e.elcomercio.pe/101/impresa/pdf/ ... 0109c6.pdf

"Rolling Stone" Magazine published in their cover AC/DC and commented Angus Young don't know anything about Ipods, Mp3, etc., only he wants to heard music like Chuck Berry and others old names on vinyls... he dont know anything about Shakira, Hip Hop or Coldplay only he wants to heard rock n'roll and that is one of the reasons they wont want his new album will be downloaded by internet 8) My cousin who lives in Miami also was at their concert and he also is a crazy lover fan of AC/DC the same as Stewart Copeland... and he said me his dream was complete than in one year he saw their best bands: Rush, The Police and AC/DC... Yeah he is a drummer

It's friggin' amazing how old these "vintage" ( and I say that with the most loving of intent, since I am in those vintage years myself) gys, just keep touring and touring, going and going, just like the Everready Bunny - some of those cats must have needed about 3 years of colonic cleansing to get back on track, lol.
We are, each of us, Angels - with only one wing. We must embrace each other to fly.

I may go probably...the tickets run out in a few hours (they will only play a couple of shows here in Milano); if I will decide I will surely find a way to get the tickets.

I'm glad you enjoyed!
