I like MO's idea of an (original Star Trek) glowing Orb frame !

..Oh and of couse it would have an "audio commentary" feature telling the story, voiced by Majel Barrett.

Right MO ?

heh,heh.

I love the little blurry flag.

That's how it looked after a few beers.

BB. Cheers Jeff !!!!

Yeah I'm voting for that. Although I think the flag may be slightly more Hitchhikers Guide than Star Trek (and I just explained it in Lord of the Rings terms on Facebook - sorry). The dear departed Peter Jones doing the audio maybe? Somehow?

Bongo, Majel won't be doing any more voiceovers for awhile. I think my old fan-film group got the last of her narrative performance on audio, actually.

But I'm thinking someone like Dave Grohl could do the flag narration justice, don't you?

Immune systems need challenges to stay in tip top condition. That flag has probably extended the life-expectancy of all who came within inhaling distance, by several years. Unless it killed them shortly after contact of course. But I'm guessing we would have heard about that.

The person who framed it is probably now resistant to every virus and bacillus on the planet :-) Or dead....[/quote]

You know I was thinking recently that we haven't heard from some people from a long time. Could be they've been busy with real life stuff (and crap like that). OTOH, I wonder if the missing were flag bearers and contracted a fatal case of flagfluenza. Maybe Kellie should do a flag bearer role call just to make sure everyone is OK.

:D

To paraphrase the great Mr Adams:

"Hey, you sass that hoopy Stewart Copeland? There's a frood who really knows where his flag is." (Sass: know, be aware of, meet, have sex with; hoopy: really together guy; frood: really amazingly together guy.)

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

DM, you must be proud.
Catchka, that comment was comedy gold.

It's great to know that something I've written on, lives in Stewart's home (and no doubt, heart). Must be the same for all who have sailed her.

As for DM. Fuck. It must feel more awesome than Awesome pie lightly baked in an awesome oven at awesome degrees for awesome minutes, with some awesome sauce on top.

Oh holy shit I can't believe I just saw this. But for financial constraints, and the absence of a flag (towel substitute) this would have been on a t-shirt in the crowd back in '83. I may still have the sketch somewhere....

The whole Flag thing is STILL cool.
I will also have to let my boyfriend know about the FlagStoryCollection to be. He was w/ me when I signed, before the ColumbsO show, and had some comments then AND when i first told him about this.
Wow, in the KK Studio........I mean........ :)

DM said it would get there. She got it there. Because she's awesome. The odd thing is that after DM busting a gut coordinating a flag-in-transit for 14 months in plastic ziplock bags, being posted, handed off, thrown across stadium barriers, rescued from customs etc. the final recipient has given enough of a shit to get it framed. What a decent bloke.
