Cool, despite the visible thumbtacks!
Heh. Those are actually gromets -- or rather, if I remember correctly, a couple of gromets and a glue-crusted hole where a gromet used to be.

(Only the best for you, Stewart.)
I imagine they could hang it from the ceiling so that both sides could be seen?
Strangely, you're the second person I've heard to make that suggestion today. Mo's original concept was to suspend it inside a glowing, rotating cube, but it would seem that Stewart has rejected the idea. Can't imagine why.

ETA: Nice to see you, Skip!

Excellent!!!!!!! Thanks for the updates, all.

I've still got some MSG photos I, um, have yet to post anywhere. (Still haven't done my Egypt ones either...just working on a few other projects as well.) I'll try to get crackin'. I still need to add some dates to the Police Wiki, also...

ETA: It goes without saying, but I for one will help however I can with your anthology project, DM.

That's just lovely. Thanks DM and St. Jeff.

It's a thing of beauty. Thanks for thinking about us, Jeff and thanks for posting it DM!

* would still love to see a better photo when it's hung, but I guess we'll see if that happens.

It's awfully crazy to look at something so familiar and know that it's all sealed away for eternity (maybe). Retired.

Oh, what a lovely thing to see on this cold Monday.

Suspended from the ceiling --- good (that's how I had always imagined it)

Illuminated, rotating ball --- BETTER!

Come on tall, lanky dude! You don't have to talk. Just appear with your flag!

PS thanks Jeff!!

Funny thing - I saw the Flag and instinctively held my breath to avoid whatever airborne illnesses it may be carrying around.

Now I feel like I should wash my hands.

Pfft. Lightweight :-) Immune systems need challenges to stay in tip top condition. That flag has probably extended the life-expectancy of all who came within inhaling distance, by several years. Unless it killed them shortly after contact of course. But I'm guessing we would have heard about that.

The person who framed it is probably now resistant to every virus and bacillus on the planet :-) Or dead....

At first, when I saw "Small Flag Update" I thought this had to do with something involving a miniature version of the flag.
