Here's my kit. This pic is from a few years back (when I used it more).
Custom made kit by Columbus Pro Percussion (OH). Maple Keller shells (basically old DW's before they made their own shells). Champagne sparkle finish on the toms and BD. Sizes 10, 12, 15, BD is 18X20 with a pedal riser so the shell is completely off the ground (besides the legs) and resonates so much more. Pearl Masters casings on the drums.
That's my 1965 round badge 14" Gretsch snare in Marine Pearl finish. I bought it off a friend for $80 bucks in the 1990's. I cleaned it up & put a Noble & Cooley Die-cast rim on the top which opens the drum up so much more. It will smack your face off! It's my baby and I'll never sell it.

Thanks Spec. Man, nice cymbal setup. Ever thought of chopping the top off the hi hat stand? =o)
Personally, I always try and save to get the top of the line for gigging, that way I can't blame the gear - any issues with sound are back to me. As a result, it's all cost me a small fortune. Top end Yamaha stands, top end DW pedals, Paiste signatures, and old 2002s before that. You get the picture. Doesn't make me a great drummer, I've got a long way to go in that department.
Brady snares are awesome. I'll bet you have heard them on recordings, but have assumed the artist has recorded with their endorsed gear. Not always the case, they're just not meant to advertise the fact. I remember seeing a photo of Dave Abbruzzese behind his kit, and just seeing enough of his snare to realise he had the same one as me.

Lynne's interview in the documentary preview had me squeeeing like mad. 'I could always keep a beat'. YES!
No pictures of kit from here for a few years yet, unless practice pad on chair qualifies. Right now I'm in heaven with just that. An absolute middle-aged, left/right brain breaking joy for me. Damn you Copeland. And bless you lot for all the tips.

Hey Tamadude...
Thanks man, that's the old discontinued "Indigo Blue" color for the Birch Starclassics...
It's a rare one as it has a "virgin" bass drum (no tom holder mount or hole etc...)
I'm always changing it up depending on the project/gig, plus I l think you play different with different configurations, and discover new things..
Right now I'm back to the 10 & 12 above the kick. I also have a 14" that I might put off to the side of the hat... we'll see..

I'm squeeeeing just looking at everyone's equipment.
I'll have a picture to add soon. I got my kit back in November and it's in a very cluttered room. I've got to sidestep and wind my way back there when I want to play. I've been slowly de-cluttering and the final part comes this Saturday when the "Got Junk" truck is coming to cart away crap. Broken, useless, life-draining, cluttering crap! Sorry.
