Rush - Alpine Valley, WI June 17, 1990 - The Presto Tour

"I Woz There!" Had just seen David Bowie on his Sound + Vision Tour three times earlier that week.

Excellent tours, both Rush and Bowie.
I remember Bo at the Palaeur (basketball hall) in Rome during the S&V tour stopping mid.song because he hated the acoustic and apologizing to us for "the management having booked us to play in this toilet"

I'm listening to All About Eve right now.

In 1990 they were one of the support groups on the Bowie tour when I went to Milton Keynes to see him play.
It was my first time out after my baby was born and I can still remember the silhoutte of David Bowie and his backing singer (sorry I don't know her name) singing China girl behind a big screen on the stage.

My 'baby' will be 19 in a few weeks time. Lord where did those years go?!

Pink Floyd - Boston - June 27, 1977

The "In the Flesh" tour in support of the Animals LP. In particular, "Dogs." Fucking love that song. Why the post-Waters Floyd never played that song is beyond me. It can't be because its too long. They used to play "Echoes" and that's well over 20 minutes long.

The Who - London December 15, 2008

Great show (got it from LongLiveRock.org). Contains a rare performance of Slip Kid. The rarely played this song even during the "Who Put in the Boot Tour", which is what they called the tour in support of The Who by Numbers. The only other boot where I recall hearing them playing that song is the Madison, WI show. Not the best performance of that song (the London version, that is) but its great to hear.

ETA

LongLiveRock.org also has a torrent for the recent Kennedy Center thing (video). Worth getting just to see Dave Grohl do Who Are You.

The Stewart Copeland Anthology is on right now. Specifically Slither.

Have been listening to some Beatles stidoi bootlegs of late but decided I needed some Stewart.

Grace Jones "Hurricane" album.

If you haven't given it a listen yet, you must. Sexy/hot/dub/reggae/rock/r&b with lyrics to make you think, that voice to scare you and rhythms that will keep your ass moving. Some of the best new music I've heard in ages.

Morrissey's new album, "Years of Refusal".

Fucking fabulous (especially "I'm OK By Myself" and "That's How People Grow Up"). Getting my Philly concert tickets tomorrow, if luck is with me.
