Likewise. Greetings from the technologically retarded UK, where we managed to watch and record last month, but couldn't get it into a shareable format. Sorry!

Happy to distribute hard copy this side of the pond if someone can get old school DVD to me. (Note to kind souls who didn't bitch about how long it took me to do earlier ones, I now have the wherewithall available 24/7...)
Hi Smudge

I'm even more technologically retarded (I like that phrase) than your average UK,er but would love a copy if you can. Happy to pay costs and buy you several big fat drinks should you ever be on the Isle of Wight. Please!
Anybody else have Comcast?]

I do, but the broadcast from Comcast is not complete. It's been heavily edited. So I'm Gigasizing it!

Thanks to Divemistress and all you others for getting the Spectacle episode up for download! It looks really great. And I'm glad to have it digitally, rather than just the crappy VHS copy I made myself.

I had the unbelievable luck of getting a seat at the taping, and the infinitely greater luck of the editors showing a clip of me during Stewart's interview. So, this really means a lot. Thanks again!!!!!

PS. Forgive me for being a newb - what's all the coughing about?

Maaan. Do we have *another* entry for Kopelandic Glossary?

Where in hell is Editor Maximus these days? I'll have to send her a surly email. ;)

Here's what I want to know - is there any different between the original UK broadcast and the Sundance channel one?? Any things edited in/out that make it worth getting copies of both?

I'm wondering that as well.

EDIT: D'oh. Sorry. I missed Dive's gigasize link earlier. (Thanks, Dive!)

I just received a UK version yesterday and am downloading the US one now. Will let you know what I find.

Hey, folks. Just a quick update:

My (soon-to-be-replaced) computer can't seem to speak British, so I'm having a delay in comparing the US and UK broadcasts. Will let you know (if no one else gets there first) as soon as I've been able to compare both versions.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
JESUS. *Finally*. Got it downloaded & MP4ized and was re-uploading *again* when I realized the MP4 was 400 megs...and the Gigasize limit is 300.

So. Had to MP4ize again to get it down under 300 megs...doesn't look too grainy or awful, although I had to change the resolution to 512x352.

Enjoy. At last.

am I doing something wrong? First I downloaded it and it only seemed to be a shell. Then I went to download it again and it kept going back to the first page where I had to enter in the 3 letter code and I was starting to feel like it was Grounhog Day. Now, when it's doing it's countdown, it completely goes to another page and plays videos, and it's not the AD type where you can click "skip this ad". Maybe I just need to walk away and try again later.

=(

Well, Gigasize ain't the greatest site, but it *is* free...I've had problems with it before myself.

Bella, you have Pando? I'll try shipping it to you that way.

Jose, can you download it? Or, would you mind making copies for the other South American fans if I send you a DVD copy?

visions, I have at least one and maybe two copies of the DVD going to Oz this week. I'll work on getting you a hard copy.
