Sorry, I just swallowed my tongue reading that. It's gonna take me a minute to regain my composure....ahhhh.

(For some reason the image that popped into my head was Beavis & Butthead...maybe it's cause Andy's blonde? Stewart doesn't make a very good Butthead though...OK, anyway.)

You know what, though? You gotta figure any book Stewart's gonna write is going to be absolutely off the hook. Personally, I'm willing to wait as long as it takes and put up with almost any amount of bullshit - book sold via raffle by UltraStar, anyone? - to get to read the thing. Wow. My mouth's nearly watering just thinking about it. I just hope he isn't censored by some corporation and has to leave out whole swaths of actual opinion due to lawsuit foolishness.

If it's like 'Wild Thing', 'One Train' or 'Broken Music', I'm gonna have to set aside about two days to read it in one sitting from cover to cover, is the only thing...:)

As far as Police stuff? I know this is an unpopular opinion, but as long as it's the Sting Show, I'm not interested. Sure, I'd go to a few more shows to see Stewart and hang out with y'all, but I'd really prefer a solo Stewart project/Gizmo/Oysterhead/book tour this year.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Sorry - can't contribute a sensible response, because despite being boringly straight I'm somewhat in awe of the cleavage.

PR, if that is a self portrait I think you just lost any hope of the 'least photogenic person' crown.

 Definitely NOT me, though I'm not lacking in the cleavage department either. I found it on a Tenacious D fan site and I couldn't help myself... it's too funny. I seriously doubt anyone on this site will be offended

It could certainly help Stew and Andy while they sit waiting for the phone to ring...

now i know why i love it here!

and not the cleavage: i just read the postings over on stingus and the topic quickly got heated and with precious little humour...

faced with some unsubstantiated wishing and wild pontificating instead of getting all tetchy and voicing some seriously fucked up notions (like on stingus), copelandia makes fish gags (halcyon lisa gets it for "cods hake". inspired), cheap wank jokes and cleavage observations....

hurrah for copelandia.

and stewie: if you're reading this: have a good year.

Didn't we have rumors of the reunion from people "in the know" that turned out to be true? I say, there's always some truth to all rumors. What that truth is remains to be seen...or heard. 8)

Meanwhile, I like it when I have the fortitude to NOT wish too much for something because then, if that something does happen, it's a nice surprise.

And regarding Trudy, isn't there a quote from Sting about her spending habits? Something to the effect of "Trudy spends enough for England" or something like that.

Not sure how much I believe this. I heard a rumor that Stewart has been commissioned for a piece that the Dallas Symphony will perform. So if this is true, his plate is not empty for the foreseeable future.

My source is quite reliable that it's Dallas; I won't say too much because I don't know if this is a done deal; a musician friend is involved w/this and already met Stew.

No reason to doubt you, at the moment could be Timbuktu for me. I hope it is much later in the year, because now LA is the best I can do...
