I just wanted to see how the presale ticket process works and I went through and received a passcode, BUT I DON'T WANT TO USE IT! I didn't mean to do it, so does that now mean I can't get another one when time comes for getting a passcode to a future show that I want to go to???

you may be ok as long as you didn't try to buy tickets. Just hold onto the code. Someone else can probably answer better.

I didn't even copy the da*n code and have yet to receive the email with it, so I couldn't even just go ahead and buy tickets in hopes of selling them to someone who lived closer to one of those areas!!

Dude, back up and go click on the gig you want. You should still be able to get another code. How far into the process did you go? If you actually got a code you might be screwed. It is unique to you and I don't know how you can "undo" that. I could be wrong. Maybe it knows you didn't use the code and it will give you another one? Maybe you can only use one code on Ticketmaster even if you get more codes from the Police site? Maybe Ticketmaster is the filter, not the Police site? I dunno. Good luck!

that code should stay good until you use it. They will e-mail a copy of it to you at some point so take it easy.

post on stupid Policetour messageboards later when they work again. Maybe one of the dudes they will confirm.

My little brain is in processing overload. I can't use the code anyway, because I didn't copy it and have since lost the page and have yet to get the email containing it.

I think as long as I didn't use it, I am okay. I mean, just because we get a passcode, that doesn't mean we are assured tickets, right? Well, if that is the case, then they can't hold it against all the people who got passcodes, went through the process and found the tickets ran out. I think your allottment of passcodeability (new word of the day) is used up only if you actually make a purchase, whether it is 1, 2, 3 or four tickets.

I didn't get the tickets I wanted and looked in the Help section.

It says that as long as you don't buy tickets, the same code will work for Ticketmaster in future sales.

Now if it's somewhere that doesn't use Ticketmaster, I'm not sure what happens. But all US dates will use TM, so unless you're planning to go elsewhere you should be ok.

Breathe deep, Bella, and I hope it works out for you. I should hope there'd be some way they check or know whether a code was actually used or not in a presale, and if not that you'd get a second chance. I'm just speaking from what sounds only fair to me, though, so I don't know anything for sure.
