Presale Tickets
Being a bit selfish, hopefully this will be all ironed out before the European dates get announced - sorry to hear that it sounds like you guys have had a bit of a time of it.

For what it's worth, I would happily get stuck into the premium membership thing if it didn't seem that it has been a bit ballsed up at the first hurdle.

Teething problems? You could use that as an excuse, I suppose.

But from the outside looking in, it seems that a website with the amount of muscle and money behind it, like this one does, would have thought a touch more about how to sell the tickets better to the fans of the group involved.

After all, it is call thepoliceTOUR.com, isn't it?
It is most unfortunate that it's come to this, but it'll all work in the long run.

Can I even purchase pre-sale tics for their concert even if it hasn't officially been announced where I'm at? I need them for Minneapolis/St. Paul, but it's not on the schedule for that locale yet. So, will I get a pre-sale opportunity for that?

I emailed them with this question, but they haven't answered yet? I suppose they can't sell me tickets tomorrow for a show location that hasn't officially been booked yet, though.

I am waiting and seeing how this all pans out before rushing to judgement...and not using up my presale rights on these first few dates, that's for certain. I want to see how it all plays out, what kind of seats folks get for Best Buy, Fan Club, and regular sale dates. I'm generally really suspicious about presale tickets being all that good anyway...quite often they're not.

I guess I mostly signed up for the fan club thinking that at some point it may offer special events and promotions for members only - just like sting.com did for the rehearsals show. That's kind of way more incentive for me to pay out than the potential (and unproven) ticket incentive...but I don't know. I hate seeing everyone so worked up over tickets so quickly when so few dates are even announced yet, let alone on sale. I'm not going to cry murder just yet...
