Anyone being/going to be affected by the big storm plowing through the mid-west/northeast?

Its supposed to hit as a blizzard here in Montreal tomorrow & Thursday (just when I have to go to work, of course...lol). All kinds of warnings posted...

Stay warm, safe & cozy everyone!

Nope.

It's been a blue sky here all day. I guess it wasn't that big a storm! :D

I live about an hour and a half from Chicago (about 70 miles), and my daughter's school along with the one I teach at were closed today. Additionally the Basketball game I was to officiate at was also put off till tomorrow. Not much snow, it's just blowing like crazy...but hey the groundhog didn't see its shadow, so winter is almost over...right?

It's supposed to start soon here and get ugly rather quickly. I'm OK with that because now I can stay home and keep vigil over my computer at noon tomorrow.

Yes, I got home from my trip to LA to find a coat of ice on my car that i'd left at the train station on Saturday. I had to run the heater and defroster for about 15 minutes before start chopping the ice off enough to be able to drive safely. I had forgotten to leave an ice scraper in my car but left a small shovel that I had picked up at Auto Zone on Saturday morning because they were predicting a big snow storm for when I was due to come back. Well, sunday night when I was already in LA, they changed the forecast to ice. So I wound up using the blade of the shovel I bought on Saturday to chop the ice off my winshields and windows which was a lot harder than using a scraper.

???

You mean your days haven't been filled with nonstop sunshine since the Police Tour 2007 was announced?

Surely it's not just me?
