Here in Australia they are saying on TV THE POLICE will do a world tour.....

It may be posted elsewhere, but at the news conference today, it was said that they would play in Australia and New Zealand towards the end of the tour, which would be about a year from now.

I heard the World Tour finishes in March 2008..
I would imagine the last date is Melbourne!

I'm sure it will be a very big world tour, everywhere, bigger than last 'The Rollingstones tour.
Anyway I will go to see my lovely trio in the place where I got in touch with them for the very first time. My home away from home. New Orleans.

I might catch that New Orleans date too, gg. I think it's great they're playing there...that city needs all the help it can get.
(I drove by the Saenger Theater this spring...site of the first Oysterhead show, 5/4/2000...and it was still closed down from Katrina, with flood water marks all up the side. Soooo sad.)
